Tesla’s Semi has a popular new customer: Budweiser.
Anheuser-Busch, which makes the Ã¼ber patriotic beer, just announced it had set aside 40 of Elon Musk’s all-electric big rigs. So it looks like you can actually famous Clydesdales will have to make some additional room in the stables for the all-electric trucks.
The company statements the order is one of the largest positioned for the trucks since reservations had been opened on Nov. 17, whenever Musk unveiled the design. The all-electric fleet is meant to help Anheuser-Busch in the efforts to cut its carbon impact by 30 percent by 2025. Â
Anheuser-Busch joins other business clients like Walmart and L. B. Hunt, which were among the first in order to announce their orders. Tesla isn’t the only real advanced freight solution that could transportation Budweiser in the future.
