It’s not just you: iOS 11 basically as popular as previous improvements.

People are updating in order to iOS 11 at a slower price compared to other recent updates, based on new stats released by Apple company.

Just 52 percent associated with devices have made the upgrade since Nov. 6, according to Apple’s programmer website. While not a bad start by any kind of means (and still significantly much better than Android), it’s down from prior updates.

By comparison, final year’s iOS 10 update has been at 60 percent by the end associated with October, following a September release.

While Apple has provided users a lot of reasons to upgrade, their best emoji, ARKit-ready apps, and built/in screen recording, there are a number of some other reasons some may be holding off.

The iOS 11 update may brick thousands of older apps that will haven’t been updated to support 64-bit processors. The rollout has also been affected by more bugs than usual, which includes a particularly annoying keyboard glitch plus battery concerns. There’s also the fact that a few of iOS 11’s best new functions were iPad-only.

Between everything and general skepticism many people have got about new iOS updates, decades surprising people have been a little reduced to update than in previous yrs.
