Apple’s catchphrase, “Think different” is so well-known that it’s not often utilized in its original context, more often picked up as an ironic dig when the organization does something users don’t like (eliminating a certain jack comes to mind).

In the case of the iPhone By, though, the irony disappears. Customers will definitely need to think differently because they encounter an iPhone with no home key, a front camera that can check your face, and a “notch” â€? most firsts for the iPhone. The iPhone By doesn’t just have new features; this introduces an entirely new way of getting together with the device.

Will owners get accustomed to the new features quickly, or can they be a continual source of disappointment? To answer that question, the particular MashTalk podcast spoke with 2 of the only people outside of Apple company who have used the device for more than the usual week: Mashable Chief Correspondent Puncture Ulanoff and BuzzFeed Personal Technologies Reporter Nicole Nguyen.

Both Puncture and Nicole were part of the very first group of tech reviewers to get their particular hands on the iPhone X, using them to get a whole week before publishing comprehensive reviews. They’ve both now used the phone for 10 days, and are also probably two of the only individuals outside of Apple who can say along with authority whether the iPhone’s new paradigm is something you’ll love or even hate.
