The automaker is rolling away a new commerce platform for its dash infotainment consoles with parter Xevo Inc. The new feature, dubbed the particular GM Marketplace, will allow drivers in order to order food and drink, find gas stations plus pay for fuel, make restaurant bookings, and more using a personalized smart program honed by IBM Watson’s device learning techniques and user information.

GM says Marketplace would be the first in-dash commerce platform from the kind for the auto industry, yet it’s probably far from the last.
