You wouldn’t think it, but the superior sound system in a Bentley, and the audio speakers in Xiaomi’s and Oppo’s mobile phones have something in common.
Dirac, the Swedish audiophile company which has been tuning Bentley’s, Harman’s home cinema techniques, and BMWs and Volvos for a long time, is now tweaking the sound you hear appearing out of some of China’s top smartphones.
The unlikely partnership between Dirac and its Chinese customers started out little, but is today found in several 200 million phones coming out of China and taiwan.
It all started having a single Oppo model five years back. Today, Dirac is enlisted to assist flagship models such as Xiaomi’s Una Mix 2, and the Oppo R11, sound better â? and just obtained world number two maker Huawei onboard last year.
