Ford has recalled 1.3 million pickup trucks

Ford has released a recall of approximately 1 . three or more million of its vehicles.  

The recall concerns pickup trucks, specifically the particular full-sized F-150 and the heavy-duty Extremely Duty vehicles.  

Ford introduced today that the recalled models absence a shield to protect their aspect doors’ latches from water. It is a problem because water can seriously damage a door’s latch or even actuation cable, the cable that will facilitates the opening and closing from the door.  

If a cable connection or latch is damaged simply by water or freezes, it can quit the door from being able to open or even close. This could literally trap a person in your car.
