Most of us will go through life slightly pondering a Rubik’s Cube from time to time, but a professional speedcuber can resolve one in seconds â? a list speed of 4. 59 mere seconds, to be exact.
In a brand new video, Korean speedcuber SeungBeom Cho solves a cube so quick that most of the people around your pet don’t even realize what happened. Certainly, their realization takes longer compared to it took him to solve the particular cube, but the room erupts along with congratulations, applause, and paparazzi-level excitement for Cho’s accomplishment.
Cho broke the record using a particular technique (it’s posted in the movie description but unintelligible if you’re not really a skilled speedcuber). Reddit commenters remember that the world record keeps getting damaged (as records do) because speedcubers decrypt existing techniques in order to create them even faster.
Cho broke his record in Chi town, at the World Cube Association’s ChicaGhosts 2017. There is a pure, unbridled pleasure to his accomplishment; not one person within the room looks bitter or suspicious, and they rush to greet Cho with high-fives and big huge smiles. Can the world please be more like the speedcubing convention?
