President Trump’s reelection committee spent more than $1 million in legal bills last quarter like investigations into Russian meddling inside 2016 election pressed on from the summer, according to a disclosure registered Sunday with the Federal Election Payment.

The filing shows this committee’s “legal consulting” expenditures came to $1. 1 million between July and Oct, including $802, 185 paid for the law firm Jones Day, which has displayed the campaign. Another $267, 000 was paid to attorneys which represents the president’s ­eldest son, Jesse Trump Jr., in the Russia research.

Since the beginning of the year, this Trump campaign and the Republican Nationalized Committee have spent $2. 4 million on legal fees â€? and the expenses appear to be mounting.
