President Trumpâs reelection committee spent more than $1Â million in legal bills last quarter like investigations into Russian meddling inside 2016 election pressed on from the summer, according to a disclosure registered Sunday with the Federal Election Payment.
The filing shows this committeeâs âlegal consultingâ expenditures came to $1. 1Â million between July and Oct, including $802, 185 paid for the law firm Jones Day, which has displayed the campaign. Another $267, 000 was paid to attorneys which represents the presidentâs Âeldest son, Jesse Trump Jr., in the Russia research.
