Reince Priebus, the previous chief of staff to Chief executive Trump, was interviewed for a complete day Friday by members associated with special counsel Robert S. Mueller’s team, Priebus’s lawyer said.

In a statement, William Burck said his client was evaluated voluntarily.

“He was happy to answer all of their questions,” Burck mentioned.

The interview, which happened at the special counsel’s office within Washington, is a sign that Mueller’s investigation is now reaching into the maximum levels of Trump’s aides and previous aides.
