After 10 minutes of overtime and no end in sight, two opposition teams of Overwatch players invented a way to settle the score making use of different, rather unconventional method.

Overwatch player TheBeginS shared the clip on Reddit Tuesday of the Overwatch match that had stagnated in overtime for more than 10 minutes, and was eventually made a decision when both teams agreed to figure out the winner with a 1v1 melee duel using Torbjörns.

The duel was intense, lasting regarding 40 seconds in total as the opposition Torbjörns swung at each other using their hammers, slowly chipping away with their health bars as 10 other players sat and viewed.

With no one else position inside the objective, whichever Torbjörn ruled supreme would capture the point plus win the match for their group. It was a close bout, but in the conclusion the Torbjörn on the defending group won and took the point for your win.

Surprisingly, nobody hopped onto the point in time to destroy the outcome of the duel. Everyone remained honorable in Hanamura.

Using melee attacks to settle things basically exactly new to gaming; some competing Counter-Strike matches start with knife-only models, the winning teams of which arrive at choose the side they start the overall game on.

If Blizzard’s dating algorithms end up putting more gamers in similar, evenly matched circumstances, maybe these Torbjörn duels will begin catching on in Overwatch.
