More than 300 apple iphones have been stolen from an UPS monitor in San Francisco, with the thieves producing away with some $300, 000 really worth of products.
The robbers staked out the truck plus grabbed a shipment, before this managed to deliver to an Apple shop at the Stonestown Galleria shopping mall within San Francisco, according to news outlet CBS SF. Â
They broke within and took all the smartphones while the UPS driver was from Macy’s making a delivery.
The thieves are still at large, and law enforcement are asking for help in tracking all of them down. Â
âA witness noticed three unidentified suspects wearing hooded sweatshirts exit a white Avoid van, ” San Francisco Police Section Captin Rick Yick said.
“It appears the suspects understood what they were looking for. “
The apple iphone X retails for a minimum of $999, so 300 units would be really worth a figure close to $300, 000.
