Samsung’s next range topping phone might actually fit in your wallet. Â
The Korean electronics conglomerate recently submitted sketches of a collapsible smartphone, rumored to be called the Samsung Galaxy X, to the Korean Mental Property Office.
The drawings were spotted by LetsGoDigital, that can be dredging up additional documentation for your mysterious device including a brand application, and a license from Korea’s National Radio Research Agency, within the past few months. Â
The sketches show that the phone will fold back to the inside, like the infamous flip phones associated with years past. Unlike its flicking predecessors, however , the Galaxy By won’t feature a keyboard. Instead, you may two displays, which would allow you to gain access to multiple apps at a time, or might be combined together to make a larger display. Â
Samsung has been rumored to become at work on the Galaxy X given that January of this year. The release of the sketches could indicate that the mobile phone is coming sooner than we anticipated, but don’t hold your breathing: The projected release date since last month was 2019.
We can’t, of course , confirm something about the specs of the phone â? the sketches show designs that will Samsung is considering, but not always those it is committed to using. However the pictures at least reassure us the company has the ball rolling upon practical designs, and that the Universe X may not face some of the problems that plague dual-display competitors such as the ZTE’s Axon M.
