The New York Yankees made a major investment in esports, the team revealed today. These kinds of are now stakeholders in one of the most recognized North American esports team organizations: Replicate Fox.
The New York Yankees announced an investment in Vision Esports today, a company that holds risk in three different esports businesses including Echo Fox. Echo Sibel, founded by three-time NBA champ Rick Fox, has teams contending in League of Legends, Call of Duty, H1Z1, and a number of fighting games.

While the groups tend to operate as usual in terms of gamer management and their coaches, the bigger traditional sports teams help increase sponsorships, merchandising, and other ways of customization revenue.
