Portland-based creative Momo Pixel has created a casino game called Hair Nah, in response to females constantly touching her hair.
In the game, you play the black woman who’s on her method to catch a flight. What’s ending her from boarding? People continuously touching her hair. Â
The purpose of the game is pretty simple. Swat as many hands off as they flow towards your head.
Players buy to customise their hairstyle plus skin tone.
Once you get to the end of the sport, you’re rewarded with this piece of intelligence:
According to Momo, who tweets because @MomoUhOh, she designed, wrote, artwork directed and sang the music for your game. Â
Many users upon Twitter were quick to share their own personal experiences of people touching their head of hair.

It’s not uncommon to hear women of color talk about strangers who touch their own natural hair without their permission.
Momo’s LinkedIn page listings her as an art director with agency Wieden+Kennedy. The Whois report for hairnah. com is also authorized to her employer.

Seriya Wesley, a publishing producer with Wieden+ Kennedy, who was part of the group who produced the game, explained that will she had numerous experiences of individuals touching her hair without authorization.
“Iâll be walking, and also a woman will reach her fingers into my head. Iâm talking to the teammate, and a coworker I just fulfilled is holding my hair in the hand, ” she said within an article on On She Will go.
“The moment someone brings up my hair, I grab this to claim ownership. “
Wesley adds that the main purpose of the overall game is to get people to realise their own actions could be seen as offensive.
“Who Iâm really hoping to obtain are those women and men who may not be paying attention to their actions or donât see them as offensive, inch she says. “I hope these people see themselves in this game and become like, ‘Oh my God. ‘ And then from there stop doing it. “
