How to share photos from your iPhone with Airdrop

You’ve definitely noticed the Airdrop icon on your apple iphone or iPad. You’ve probably heard a buddy offer to Airdrop something in order to someone else.

But do you really know what this mysterious sharing function is? Or are you still trapped in the olden days of texting, contacting, or even Facebook messaging your pictures to your friends?

If occur to be such a luddite as that, jooxie is here to help. Here’s everything you need to understand sharing pictures, documents, and more through Airdrop.

First, you’ll need to change Airdrop on. To do this, swipe upward from the bottom of your screen in order to launch Control Center. Press plus hold the wireless control box (the button in the upper left part box that looks like an antenna).

Tap on Airdrop on the menu that shows up.

You can then determine whether you’d like to be Airdropped simply by everyone nearby, or only simply by contacts.

Now, you are able to send things to people nearby who else also have Airdrop turned on. To do this, open up the app that you’d like to reveal from and select the item you want to reveal. Tap Share.

A list of available users in your area can look under the photo. Tap the one you need to share your item with.

Good luck with your new quick-sharing tool. Just, as usual, beware of trolls.
