Nintendo’s original concept for its Animal Crossing mobile online game looked quite different from what we obtained with Pocket Camp, YouTuber Online game History Guy a. k. the Liam Robertson revealed in his over video Saturday.
According in order to Robertson, the first working title for that mobile game was Animal Traversing: Town Builder, and it tasked gamers with designing and keeping up their very own towns. This version of the online game lived mostly inside of menus; player’s couldn’t walk around and interact with such things as they can in Pocket Camp.
Luckily, the internal team wasn’t a large fan of town building as well as the game was rebuilt to what now we have. Though we still wish there were more social features.
